Mitwirkung an Jon Spencer Blues Explosion Album "ACME". In den 2000ern Ausflug ins Altersheim, inzwischen über 70, Rausschmiss und Gefängnis wegen Drogenbesitzes, Alkoholexzesse. Dann eben wieder zurück ins Studio/zurück auf die Bühne. Ende der 2000er mit den New Orleans Hellhounds, mit den Diplomats Of Solid Sound - zuletzt mit den Goldstars.

Menic’s music is rooted in the musical traditions around the Northern Atlantic and the Deep Blues you find up and down the Mississippi. Nevertheless, as a singer, songwriter, guitarist and fiddle player, he adds various modern styles in to the mix. In his musical past he performed and worked with bands and artists of various musical genres, Punk, Cajun, Stoner Rock, Irish Folk and Bluegrass, e.g. Zeno Tornado, The Dead Brothers, Mama Rosin, Delaney Davidson, The Tight Finks. These influences shine through on his first full-length album, released this May 2012 on the Voodoo Rhythm Label. It offers 12 original songs from a wide palette of moods and styles, played on acoustic instruments like guitar, banjo, mandolin, accordeon, double bass, violin and slide guitar. His songs put you into places that you’ve never been, but feel you’ve always known.

The Castastrophe Orchestra call their music 'Doomsday Anthems' or 'Requiem Rock'. What that means is dark rock mixed up by influences from classical, tango and eastern european folk music. Singer and main songwriter Damón Zurawski describes his musical vision: "Just as the band that played as the Titanic sunk, we wanna play as the bombs fall. To be the soundtrack to the end of the world, if you will. And if the prophecies are true, I believe 2012 will be a big year for us".

Auf extrem authentische Art präsentiert das US-Psychedelic-Blues Quartett "The Flying Eyes" aus Baltimore den zeitlos-warmen 60s heavy-fuzz Sound der "Summer Of Love Generation", mit Wurzeln im rauen Mississippi-Delta-Blues der exzessiven 1920er Jahre. In der Machart und der instrumentalen Besetzung des Albums lassen "The Doors" grüssen, vor allem dann wenn die ersten gehauchten Töne des ausdruckstarken und markanten Gesangs erklingen.

BURN PILOT überlassen nichts dem Zufall und nehmen mit, was sich ihnen bietet.
Drei junge Menschen, musikalisch begabt, mit sehr hohem, künstlerischen Output, legen sie ein Tempo vor, wovon jede Band nur träumen kann. Musikalisch sind BURN PILOT nicht wirklich festgelegt, es muss Energie haben und der Flow muss stimmen, und klar die klassische 3er Rock-Besetzung zeigt hier den Weg, aber das Ziel wird sich erst noch zeigen, denn diese Band hat Potential.
